7th ANNUAL ONTARIO MINE RECLAMATION SYMPOSIUM AND FIELD TRIP

The Canadian Land Reclamation Association (CLRA) and the Ontario Mining Association (OMA) are pleased to announce the Seventh Annual

Ontario Mine Reclamation Symposium and Field Trip.

 
Featuring:
 

• One day symposium highlighting the history and current status of mining in southern Ontario, current research and rehabilitation practices, and reclamation project updates
• Symposium reception and banquet
• One day field tour of mine and aggregate sites in the Peterborough/Bancroft area
• Presentation of the Tom Peters Memorial Mine Reclamation Awards (note: further information is available from and nominations may be submitted to Bryan Tisch until May 16th, 2014)

 
The organizing committee is seeking mine reclamation abstracts for presentations at the symposium on June 17, 2014.  If you are interested, please forward abstracts by April 30, 2014 in Word or PDF format via email to Bryan Tisch (email address below).  Note that a technical paper is NOT required. The presentations will be published on CD as the symposium proceedings.
 
In an effort to keep costs low, the organizing committee is also seeking sponsorships, typically at a value of $250. Your logo will be prominently displayed and your company fully acknowledged.
