Remembering David Arnill

Founder of the Manitoulin Dolomite quarry and past OSSGA president (1996) Wm. David Arnill died suddenly on October 13. He was 69 years old.

David enjoyed a prolific career as a road building contractor and aggregate producer until his retirement from Seeley and Arnill Construction. The Wasaga Beach native will be remembered for his efforts and enthusiasm in supporting his community through service club membership and many generous contributions, including donations towards recreation and local hospitals.

Beloved husband of Sharon Arnill; loving father of Pauline (and her husband, Scott Haugen) and Deanna (Mike Mutzel), as well as the late Kelley Arnill; brother of Paul Arnill (Lynne) and Julie Coe, David will be sorely missed by his nieces, nephews and his many friends and business associates.

Friends will be received at the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, 3521 County Road 124, Nottawa from 1 p.m. on October 22 for the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m., with reception to follow.

Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation are greatly appreciated by the family.
